Clinical Services

Katie has extensive experience in paediatric speech pathology, working with children and collaborating with families, carers and education providers across a range of settings. Through the building of a supportive, comfortable and effective learning environment for each child, Katie is able to deliver individualised, engaging and evidence-based therapy programs.

At this time, children's speech pathology services are available in the Maitland area only.

Children's speech pathology services are currently offered in a team approach by Katie and Speak Naturally's Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Ella, at the clinic in Morpeth. Ella has a background in primary education studies, experience working in a school setting as a learning support person and is in the final semester of her Speech Pathology degree at The University of Newcastle. Under Katie's direction and supervision, Ella works with children and families to provide high quality speech pathology programs. As an AHA, the sessions provided by Ella are charged at a significantly reduced rate, providing families with an economical option when seeking speech pathology support.

Speak Naturally provides holistic speech pathology management, with support tailored to the people and communities it serves. Our practice is respectful and strengths-based, valuing cultural and linguistic diversity, upholding neurodiverse-affirming principals and striving for the highest levels of service accessibility, safety and inclusion.
